About this token:

• A somewhat similar token is listed in Rulau's "Latin American Tokens," as Mxo 611. A "Bolos" or marriage medalete.
• Rulau is incorrect in calling these "Bolos." According to Groves "Medals of Mexico" a Bolo is a token given at a christening.
• I now have a web site about these tokens, but I still don't know much about them!
