• I went to the URL on the token, christianschools.net (which is a searchable listing of Christian schools) and sent them an e-mail. I received the following information about this token:
  
  We received your inquiry about the ROBI tokens....The name of our company is Roberts Enterprises, Inc., and we do business as Abundant Funds. We are a fundraising company that supports Christian schools in the US. We also provide a free internet directory listing for over 10,000 Christian schools at christianschools.net....

  The tokens were manufactured by a mint in California (I think)[Hoffman Mint] in 1999 and we had 200,000 minted. We use them as an incentive for the schools we do business with. We sell Christmas cards, gift wrap/gift items and also cheesecakes.

  For instance if a kid in a schools sells three items, he gets 3 tokens...They can be exchanged later for a prize of some kind...(such as, may 3 coins equal one homework pass, or 30 extra minutes at lunch, or a "grab bag" prize...whatever the schools decides is best for them.
