Jose writes: The token in the picture is from Dominican Republic. It is one in a series of at least 5 denominations. (2, 3, 5, 10, 20) The emisor (owner) was a hard working person who left a very big fortune in industries and land. His descendents is many and are well known family in my country.
This token does not seem to be listed in the first edition of Rulau's "Latin American Tokens", it may have been added to the revised edition (which I don't have a copy of).
