• Catherine writes: The posted Atlantic City Raceway token was likely a pin or button to be worn. Atlantic City Raceway held harness racing at the Atlantic City racetrack just outside of Atlantic City from 1968 to the mid 1970s. In that era it was common for Officials (i.e. judges, management, etc.) to be issued metal pins or buttons to identify themselves. In fact Freehold Raceway still races part of its meet as Atlantic City Raceway at Freehold.
